Director Barbara Hatch discusses The Importance of Being Earnest

Tuesday • December 4 • 6-7 p.m.
The Santa Fe Playhouse • 142 East De Vargas Street • Santa Fe

Oscar Wilde was jailed soon after the opening of his most famous play, The Importance of Being Earnest.  But he must have done something right, because this satire on Victorian mores continues to be an audience favorite over a hundred years after his death.  We will talk with Director Barbara Hatch and several of the actors in this “trivial comedy for serious people.”  Come learn about the rehearsal process, the style of the play, costumes, sets, and what this play has to say to us now!

Conversation and refreshments after the talk.
