Santa Fe Classic Theater
Santa Fe Classic Theater was founded in 2015 as a non-profit tax-exempt theater company whose purpose is to present and promote the works of classic playwrights, from Sophocles to Shakespeare to Shaw, for multicultural audiences in New Mexico. Santa Fe Classic Theater is a professional company committed to the highest standards of excellence in theater.
The founding members are Patrick Briggs, Suzanne Cross, Michael Graves, Jennifer Graves, Barbara Hatch, Kelly Kiernan, John Moeller, Ann Roylance, and Lynn Roylance.
In June, 2019, Santa Fe Classic Theater is proud to bring Romeo and Juliet, directed by Patrick Briggs, to be performed at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden for this year's Shakespeare in the Garden.
This summer’s performance is dedicated in memoriam to founding member Michael Graves (shown to the right), whose enthusiasm and decades of professional Shakespearean performance helped propel SFCT into being.
