CircAspire: Glow Up

CircAspires 4th annual production promises to thrill and delight, enticing cast and audience members alike to GLOW UP!

What does that mean, you say? To GLOW UP means to be unapologetically the giant human beings we are, with no hesitation. To GLOW UP means to be big for every reason and for no reason at all. This circus GLOW UP will leave you questioning why any of us would ever play small.

GLOW UP is brought to life by an incredibly brave cast of 27 local performers! A multi-generational performance featuring aerial and acrobatic feats of wonder, clowning, stilt-walking, unicycling, juggling, live music, poetry, and dance!

GLOW UP is directed and written by Oriana Lee, professional performing artist, teacher, and community activist. Sam Leyba is the Set Designer/Director and is composing an original soundtrack for the performance. The show features original choreography created and performed by the Santa Fe Capital High School Dancers.

CircAspire includes performers from all of Wise Fools many impactful programs, including Circus Comes to School, Afterschool Fools, Teen Troupe, Teen BUST, Elevate, BUST!, and our adult studio classes.

Wise Fool began the CircAspire program in 2015 to create an opportunity for our pre-professional adult and youth students to level up their performance skills and experience, moving from cabaret-style or kids-only shows to a full-length production with professional direction and technical production team.
