The Little Match Girl, based on Hans Christian Anderson’s story:
A flamenco holiday extravaganza
Presented by Companía Chuscales y Mina Fajardo and Teatro Paraguas.
Renowned guitarrist Chuscales and choreographer Mina Fajardo lead a company of musicians, actors, and dancers in a fabulous flamenco interpretation of the cherished story. The company features Monze Diaz as a solo dancer, Amanda Cocker as dancer and narrator, singer Nicolasa Chavez, dancers Charles Brunn and Kelly Tucker, and Siena Price as the little match girl.
Compania Chuscales y Mina Fajardo have performed many times at Teatro Paraguas and elsewhere in New Mexico. Previous concerts include Una Nota de Lorca (2016), Romance de La Luna (2016), Choreography & Calligraphy (2017), and Dance with Spirit—History of Santa Fe (2017).
