Upstart Crows of Santa Fe is a Shakespeare troupe for young people age 10 to 18 that produces workshops and uncut plays with a focus on understanding and collaboration.
We explore Shakespeare’s language and meaning with the help of experienced directors and professional actors, learn stage fighting, and provide extensive outreach to schools, libraries, and community centers, sharing our passion for the plays.

There are no auditions and no prior theater experience is necessary—the only requirement is a desire to do the work. All who participate receive substantial roles. Each project has two to four casts so that actors can direct each other and take part in every aspect of process of creating the production.
