SPECIAL ENGAGEMENT • ONE NIGHT ONLY!
Ann Randolph returns to the Adobe Rose Theatre in Santa Fe to present her hit show Inappropriate in All the Right Ways. If you missed this sold-out performance last time, now’s your chance!
A popular and provocative performer, Ann Randolph takes comic catharsis to a new level. Randolph fuses her trademark irreverent observations with TED-style self-help messaging for an evening of hilarity and humanity.
Inappropriate starts with Randolph sharing her own wild ride: from living in a mental institution in Appalachia to living on a boat off the coast of Alaska pretending to clean the Exxon Oil spill with some good ol' boys from Louisiana to a homeless shelter in Santa Monica to hooking up with Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft for an off-Broadway run on 42nd Street.
Each step of the way, we watch Randolph face tremendous obstacles and defeats and witness how each of these challenges led to the unfolding of this unique and surprising artist.
Ann Randolph is an Ovation-Award–winning playwright and performer. Her multicharacter solo show Squeeze Box was originally produced by Mel Brooks and the late Anne Bancroft and went on to become a critically acclaimed Off-Broadway hit. Her most recent solo show, "LOVELAND," was named "Best Solo Show San Francisco" by the San Francisco Examiner. Ann also won San Francisco Bay Area and the LA Weekly award for "Best Solo Performer."
The show has toured both nationally and internationally and enjoyed a critically-acclaimed run at the Arena Stage in D.C. Ann is also passionate about teaching people to speak their stories and teaches annually at Esalen, Kripalu, and the Omega Institute.
